Triclear Review
Triclear is a dermatological product used for acne treatment, developed by scientists and tested safe for use. This formula uses natural products, patented ingredients and tried and tested acne medicines in a three-step program which claims to prevent future breakouts. This formula contains Salicylic Acid for cell turnover and unclogging blocked pores and dries lesser than other ingredients; Inflacin which is one of their own patented ingredients, also used for the complexion of the skin by reducing swelling and redness; Silicol Dioxide which penetrates deep all the way to the glands that produce oil which initiates acne production and QuSomes, another patented product which apparently helps all the other ingredients’ effectiveness by helping them reach deeper into pores and allowing for a greater concentration to reach all the way down. Triclear acknowledges that there is no sure shot cure for acne but guarantees that its products will help reduce the formation of new acne and to clear up the existing ones.
This system consists of 3 different stages: cleansing, clearing and prevention. The cleanser removes oil, dead skin and other types of dirt that block pores and skin follicles. The clearing stage uses a gel to suck in all excess oil and inhibit future over production. At last comes the prevention stage with a cream that helps in skin exfoliating and fights acne during the day. However, the only scientifically proven ingredient is salicylic acid, since the QuSome and the other “patented” ingredients have no real solid scientific background. Moreover, the salicylic acid can be a bit harsh on the more sensitive skin types, but could be just what some others need.
Another downside is their free trial system. You shall receive a free sample and pay for the shipping and delivery only. However, you must cancel your subscription within one month. Moreover, even if you did cancel it, you will still be priced a “discounted” $99.99 for two months if they did not get their product back. Beware of this devious marketing technique.
Although the Triclear website shows that around 74% of their volunteers saw improved results in less than a week and around 96% within two weeks, most reviews indicate that it is just an average product with a decent penetrating power–no more, no less. There are much better acne treating products out there but if Triclear works well for you then by all means use it. There is just no solid proof of consistency.
