Find Out What is the Best Acne Products For You

Proactiv Solution Review

without comments

Proactiv is a product that promises to give you full results in 3 easy steps. First, the Renew cleanser that uses a new, exclusive micro-crystal benzoyl peroxide to cleanse the surface, then the revitalize tonal that is alcohol-free and removes the impurities, and last but not least, the repair lotion that is a light, oil-free combination to penetrate and soften the clogged pores for ultimate results.

There are other products available as well, such as an oil-free moisturizer, daily oil control, refining mask, travel size green-tea moisturizer, and a few more. The website provides live chat option with a dermatologist to answer your every need and questions.

This product works by targeting the acne cycle before it becomes a problem. It acts deep within the pores of the skin by employing its medicinal qualities and skin-care agents in the right order and concentration and thereby successfully breakdown the change of blockages within the pores, granting you a clear complexion. Each product has to be applied 2 times a day–once every morning and once at night.

The downside to this product is the price range. Seeing the recommended amount (as mentions the official site) of $16 for step-1, another $16 for step-2 and $22 for the last step, one can see that their target market is mainly focused on the higher end line. Side effects of the product include eye sensitivity, sometimes causing your skin to form more oil on your skin due to the lack of moister production. It can cause skin to go dry and flaky, and doesn’t make your pimples go away but reduces them in size, smells awful and bleaches your pillow if the product is used before bedtime. The instructions on the bottle also state that you have to use the product at least 45 days before it starts to work, which is far longer than your usual acne products.

Overall, Proactiv works for some people and not for the others. Even with the celebrity advertisements, people claim that it just doesn’t help much since the general complaints vary from the dry and flaky skin all the way up to the bleached pillow covers and towels. Hence, it is best used if you only have mild acne problems. The price is too high to take the risk if you are not completely convinced that you need to have this product.
