Acnetix Review
Could Acnetix Really Eliminate 99.7 Percent of Acne in Just Seven Days?
The commercial claims for Acnetix seem overblown, but they are based on independent scientific research. Here is why this product really works the way it says it does. The makers of Acnetix claim that their product can eliminate 99.7 per cent of acne in just one week. It actually can, although the complete healing of acne-affected skin usually takes longer. The way this product gets rid of blemishes is by killing the Propionibacterium acnes bacteria that multiply unchecked in clogged pores with tea tree oil. Extracted from the leaves and stems of the tea tree, a low-growing plant native to northern Australian marshes, tea tree oil has been used for skin care for over one hundred years.
Researchers in Australia have confirmed that tea tree oil is potently antibacterial. It kills as many of the skin germs as the common medication benzoyl peroxide, but with a twist: Benzoyl peroxide dries out the skin; tea tree oil does not.Drying the skin doesn’t actually make acne better. It makes acne worse. This is because the moisture in skin keeps it supple so pores stay open. Open pores do not get clogged with sebum, and they do not form blackheads or whiteheads. Benzoyl peroxide kills infectious microorganisms, but it also dries out the skin. Tiny flakes of skin get lodged over other pores, restarting the whole process. That’s why even if you kill the germs you keep getting pimples if you use this chemical medication.
Tea tree oil kills germs and does not dry out the skin. When it clears up a pimple, a new one does not take its place. Moreover, tea tree oil “gets the red out” as it does its antiseptic work. Pimples are less noticeable in just a few days, whereas you may have to use cosmetic cover-ups for a week or two longer if you use the prescription cream. The Australian herbal extract is just one of the active ingredients in Acnetix. Another is aloe, the sap of a semitropical plant with proven regenerative properties. Aloe also removes redness and inflammation, but it stimulates the growth of skin where it has been broken. It does not stimulate skin to grow over impacted pores and form whiteheads, but it does stimulate broken skin to repair sites populated by pimples.
A third important inclusion in the formula is an extract of white willow bark, the original source of aspirin. If you have had pimples, you know they can hurt. White willow extract acts in the same way as aspirin in relieving pain. As an anti-inflammatory, it also removes redness. Complementing inflammation relief is the softening influence of vegetable glycerin along with the sebum-dissolving action of jojoba oil. And oat flour, walnut shell, and Redmond clay are important exfoliants. These ingredients complete the job the extract of tea tree starts. They lift and separate tiny flakes of dead skin off the surface of the face. This way, these collections of dead skin cells can be cleansed away so they never accumulate around pores. This action does not just keep pores open. It also keeps them from becoming enlarged.
This is a product for which manufacturers make strong but honest claims. Try it—you have nothing to lose except blemishes on your skin.
